An attempt to build Fan base globally: Manchester City Launched new Nike kit.

Like every top teams in Europe big leagues, most or if not all of them either have Nike or Adidas as their kit sponsor except for Manchester City who was one of the few that weren’t sponsored by neither the American or German well-known brand.

Now that City has realized to compete on the same front as their city neighbor Manchester United or even Chelsea on a global scale, they need to reach a broader fan base.

With the announcement of their new kit deal with Nike yesterday in New York City they certainly can level that playing field and have their brand reach beyond the shores of Europe and into different markets through Nike enormous market distribution.View their newly released 2013/2014 season kit below.
