Daniel Sturridge returns with a “Bang” in 2-0 win at Anfield

Daniel Sturridge return from a long injury spell with a “Bang” in Liverpool 2-0 win at Anfield against West Ham United.

Brendon Rodgers made the call to include the former Chelsea striker in his line-up ahead of Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini who were both available and the gamble paid off.

The the striker scored Liverpool second goal to secure all three points after youngster Raheem sterling second-half strike put them ahead. Liverpool now sits in seventh place with just a point behind Arsenal.
