EPL gameweek preview
- After playing their mid-week champions league fixtures, the top teams return back to compete in the domestic leagues.
The top encounters scheduled in the English premier league are-
Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspurs- The London derby promises exciting football and some tough competition is expected between the two sides, who have failed to show enough consistency this season. Tottenham’s recent form is noteworthy and they will be keen to wrap up all the 3 points against Arsenal, who still haven’t found the solution to their defensive lapses.
Everton vs Liverpool- Liverpool visit Everton in the hope of avoiding 3 consecutive away defeats in the league, while Everton will be expected to carry on their brilliant home record. Charismatic captain Steven Gerrard is most probably going to start from the bench.
Chelsea FC vs Bolton Wanderers– Bolton lies last in the league standing and has lost its last 5 premier league games. They will have their task cut out when they play hosts to west Londoners Chelsea FC. Chelsea will look to increase the misery of Owen Coyle by handing him his 6th consecutive defeat. Blackburn Rovers will look to leave their miserable start to the season behind and start winning again. Blackburn lie in the relegation zone, having just 4 points from 6 games.
Newcastle versus Wolverhampton Wanderers- Newcastle hasn’t yet lost in the premier league and they will try to keep that record enact when they visit the Wolves. Wolverhampton has lost the last three games in the league and stands in the 12th position.
