Eusebio: Looking back at the greatest moments of the Portuguese legend career

Eusebio World football mourns the death of Portugal legend Eusebio da Silva Ferreira after he passes away today at age 71 from a heart attack.

Like so many others before him, the Portuguese legend has made an incredible contribution to football on the world stage and we’re all saddened by the death of the man who lit up the world with his incredible ball control and dribbling skills.

Eusebio who represents Benfica at club level scored 733 times in 745 professional matches throughout his career including his impressive 41 goals in 64 appearances for Portugal.

His nine goals in the 1966 World Cup Finals played in England helped to record Portugal best-ever showing at a FIFA World Cup and earned him the tournament’s top scorer prize.
