Concacaf CL

Toronto FC stun LA Galaxy to advance in CCL- Saunders crash out 6-1

Ryan Johnson continues his impressive performances in Concacaf Champions League play by following up on his opening goal in the first leg with a goal and an assist in the second leg replay.

The Jamaican international scores from an header to cancel out a disappointing own goal conceded in the first half and setup his teammate Nick Soolsma goal in the 67th minute to put his team in the semifinal 4-3 on aggregate.

The Canadians went to the Home Depot Center knowing the uphill task they face and produce the goods needed to pull off the upset and leave behind a disappointing star studded team with likes of  Beckham Robbie Keane and more reminiscing the lost.

In the other semifinal leg between Santos Laguna and Seattle Saunders played in Mexico, Santos bounce back from a goal down to rout helpless Saunder 6-1 and advance 7-3 on aggregate.
